Robert and Lola Stone loved Hawaii, where they lived for nearly 30 years. Last week, family members brought Lola home to Hawaii, where they scattered her ashes in Kailua Bay next to those of husband Bob.
They met on another island beach (Long Island) as teenagers. Throughout their 46 years of marriage, whether on Long Island, in Hawaii, or in Thailand, the beach and the ocean were always a part of their lives.
